How it all began...

There has always been a need for families to communicate about important topics like dating, sex and abortion. Because these issues can be difficult or uncomfortable to talk about, sadly, many families shy away from them.

Latinos4Life began in February 2006 as the Hispanic Outreach of Tulare-Kings Right to Life. The goal is to bring these issues to the table and give families the tools and encouragement needed to communicate more effectively and build stronger relationships.

Founder and Director, Maricela Lupercio, began by attending community meetings and networking with leaders as well as setting up information booths at various events. Latinos4Life has become very involved in educating and equipping people to open up about these important life topics and was awarded “Non-Profit of the Year” in 2009 by the Tulare-Kings Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

About the Director:

Maricela Lupercio is a Tulare County native and the second youngest of five siblings.

She is a wife, mother of 4 and proud bi-lingual Latina who has a  passion for restoring Faith and Family Values in the hearts and homes of the Hispanic Community.

Over the years, Mari has given hundreds of presentations, radio and television interviews and written articles for various media outlets. She has displayed information at a multitude of events throughout Tulare and Kings counties and continues to reach out to people of all ages sharing the message of the Sanctity of Human Life, Marriage and Family.
