Maricela Lupercio is a Tulare County native and the second youngest of five siblings. She grew up in Orosi and graduated from Orosi High School in the year 2000. After graduation, she volunteered a year to her church as a missionary through Regnum Christi. Her travels include: Rhode Island, New York, New Jersey, Tennesse, Florida and Rome, Italy.
In the summer of 2001, she returned to the valley where she continued to volunteer in her local parish of St. Mary's in Cutler working with the youth. A short time after, Mari met her husband Henry who also did some traveling in the U.S Coast Guard for two years. They have been married for 4 1/2 years and have 2 beautiful children.
Mari became the director of Latinos 4 Life in February of 2006. Since then she has done numerous pro-life presentations for churches and community groups. She has displayed information at a variety of health fairs in Tulare-Kings counties through her involvement with the Bi-National Committe and other community outreaches.
Mari is a proud bi-lingual latina who has a heart for restoring strong faith and family values among the latino community.
